Erm, Div3North says "The deadline for entries is, as ever, scheduled kick-off time, which is 7 45pm this coming Tuesday, 6th March."

So that makes Mr. H three minutes adrift!

What you really want to happen is that if someone's guess goes on after the stipulated time, their guess is a Wynonie-type guess - miles off; what you DON'T want is that they get it right (with or without a stoppage time equaliser) . It's the first time this has happened, so Chimer and I will discuss it, but I have to say, off the top of my head, that "rules is rules".

It seems you have all forgot that the match was taking place abroad in a foreign county, and our nearest foreign neighbours are usually 1 hour ahead of us. Presumably he posted from the location in which case he was actually 57 minutes early.

OK - here I am briefly back at Mission Control.

Well balanced set of predictions for this one, 15 for us, 6 for them and 10 (correctly) for the draw - of whom Outback Ozzy, Smudgie, Teach, Winstanley and - hem - Stanleyhouse got the max for getting the score right too.

Smudgie was the big mover as a result, up 4 places to 4th, with LancsDave establishing a 2 point lead at the top and Stanleyhouse breaking into the Top 10 after an all-night sitting of the Rules Committee to determine whether 1948 was too late to place an acceptable entry. The decision was to let it in this time - big soft Jessies that we are.

Full table attached. The update after the Southend game may be a bit late as I'm moving around rather a lot at the moment. Normal service will be resumed when possible.
