2011 Prediction League; Just for fun; Game 2 - Carlisle Utd (home)
Accrington Stanley v Carlisle Utd 9th in League 1, with 10 points from 6 games, you'd sort of prefer it if we were playing them at their place, given their relative home and away form so far; at home, W1 L2; away, W2 D1. Having beaten Oldham on penalties in Round One, they went out of the Carling at Aldershot by 2-0. Overall, they've scored 8 and conceded 11 in their 8 games played; ex Aberdeen and Middlesbrough striker Lee Miller has 3; four others (plus an own goal) have one each. Not totally thrilling, perhaps ........ They've won the Football League Trophy (aka The Johnstone's Paint Trophy) twice, including last season, and been beaten Finalists four times, including 2009 - 10, when they lost to Southampton. We've never won it ......... Yet ............. Just for fun, as you know; have a go at predicting the score - no prizes, but possibly immortality for the winner ..............
