Re: 2012 Prediction League; Game 35 v Torquay Utd (home)

A three game unbeaten run sees Valairian knocked off the top of the table by Ossy Kid, who remarkably produced his fourth five-pointer in seven games to take a one point lead .

OK had the only maximum, Accybeme, Football 19, Kiwi John and Yerself got three points for their 1-1 predictions, and a lot of us got a point for our clean sheet. Nobody except OK thought we’d fail to score (except maybe the liner who flagged our goal offside to win his bet ).

KJ and F19 both moved up a couple of places, now 6th and 7th respectively. Little significant movement elsewhere in the table ……..

except that I noticed that Accybeme hadn’t moved up a few places in mid-table as I would have expected . So some hours and several wet towels later, I worked out that from day 1 this season, a glitch of mine had resulted in Accymad’s points being assigned to Accybeme, and vice versa . This has now been corrected and as a result Accybeme has suddenly entered the Top Ten, at tenth equal and on something of a roll, while Accymad is now down amongst the eternal optimists at 36th . Sorry chaps …..

Table attached in chunks.

I'm going to be away for the next 4 games. So my predictions are:

Northampton 2 Stanley 2
Stanley 2 Fleetwood 1
Stanley 3 Barnet 1
Stanley 3 Wimbledon 0

So we'll be save with 47 points by the time I get back

On Stanley On !!
