Ange Is Hot As Stanley Are Not

Well with the Reds having beaten a leading club away, it was obviously going to be a hammering for relegation-threatened Cheltenham at home, wasn't it?

32 of us thought so, only 5 hedging their bets by sitting on the fence (sorry about mixing metaphors ) with nobody prophesying defeat. And it was AngeB, Football19 and Exile on Spencer St who sat absolutely accurately on the fence to take the max 5 points, with Norwich Stanley (by default) and Stevie R picking up 3. 15 of the 32 got a bonus point for one or other of the goals (more for theirs than for ours).

In terms of the table, Ange stretches out to a 6 point lead at the top , with Nige B retaining second place despite firing a blank this time. Football19 leaps from 24th to 16th. Other moves were just the odd place here or there. Stanley Nick returned to the game after a long absence but his point was not enough to lift him into the Top 40 cut for the published table.

So roll on the Brewers. If we can't beat 23rd, obviously we can't beat the new leaders four days later . Or can we? On Stanley On!!
