If the choice is not playing (because nobody can afford you) or reducing your demands to match what monies are available, that may change things ........

Which was really the point that Beatts made in the recent interview, wasn't it?

Demand £XXXXX and not play, or accept £XXX and play ........ No brainer (?)

Agree, F19, Jacobson would be an asset if his performances from his previous stay at Stanley are anything to go by. Cultured left foot. Wonder if he could play midfield?
Looking forward to the pre-seasons and trials already.

Both Tom Smyth and Andy Owens looked half decent prospects when I saw them play for us. Unfortunately they happened to be in our playoff chasing squad so their chances where very limited.

Was speaking to a Shrews fan yesterday, he was surprised they had let him go, apparently the victim of a wholesale clearout. He would have kept Joe, said he played consistently well in a poorly-performing team.
