Well 18 thought we could , against 11 expecting the Brewers to extend their unbeaten run with a win , and 10 others with a draw . Of the rewarded and faith-keeping 18 , only 2, TomD and me , took 5 points for a spot-on forecast, with Accymad, Cashman, Chubbyman, D3N and Sparkie (by default) taking 4 thanks to our clean sheet, and the rest settling for 3.

Amongst the rest scrabbling for a bonus point were all of Saturday night's Top 10 , bar Mab and Alvin the Chipmunk who leapt together from 7= to 4=. It is a knocking bet that come the end of the season they will still be equal, as Alvin hasn't been heard from in months so is being carried by his default scores (2-1 wins home or away), and Mab never predicts any result other than 2-1 (it's as well I know this as he uses font colours determined by the oppo's strip, which I can't read when they play in yellow ).

Of the scrabblers at the top, AngeB got the point along with Deeayess but Nige B didn't, so Ange's lead is up from 11 to 12 (don't know why I said it was only 6 last time), and Deeayess has split the Bs up by moving ahead of Nige to second on countback.

The published Top 40 table has gone up to 41 after a rare entry from AndyD brings him up to the "played 10" criteria, equalling Cmon Stanley. But his entry was for the postponed game and he hasn't been back since. We have 39 regular players at the moment, 1 wholly by defaults (Alvin as above), 1 mostly (Sparkie in 11th) and 2 occasionally (Mike A 15th and Norwich Stanley 32nd).

So roll on the Hatters. A good side, so we should be on for a win again On Stanley On!!
