Hmmmm this game scares me...1-1 and a point would be worth 3.

Re: 2015/16 Prediction League; Game 30 v Carlisle United (away

Good Day for the Doom Merchants

8 of them, against 13 fencesitters and 16 optimists. Only Football19 taking the max 5 (for the 2nd time in 3 games), this time climbing from 32nd to 28th. AngeB’s 4 points lift her into the lead for the first time this season, 3 ahead of pointless LongLostSon (no fair blaming me for your strategy, matey ). Also taking 4 were MikeA (8th to 3rd), Deeayess (11= to 6th), Red-Osbornello (33rd to 29=), Dav007 (34th, no change but closer ) and Accybeme (38th to 36th). MonkeyHanger was the last and least successful pessimist, collecting 3 points and climbing from 27th to 26th.

For the rest of us, it was 1 point or nothing , which as 8 points covers 3rd to 19th can lead to quite a bit of shuffling about within the Top 20, which I’ll leave you to explore yourselves ….

So, roll on Creepy Crawley when, M6 permitting, I’ll be with Mrs Chimer in the Clayton End for the first time since Stanley 2 Portsmouth 2 at the start of the 13-14 season – doesn’t time fly ……

On Stanley On!!

P.S. I wrote this drivel on Sunday, no idea why I didn't post it earlier
