Hope Marcus gets the opportunity at a club where he can get regular game time and progress his career. As fans we always hope that local lads can move up from youth/development squads and get into the fist team. It looked like it might happen for him until last season when the team gelled so well from the off that he really didn't get a look in. However, when I've seen him , he's always brought energy and given 100% to the team. Thanks Marcus and good luck

his career never really kicked on from after his first game for the first team. needs to get away from stanley and mayme better to drop down the leagues for a while to kick start his career. good luck marcus and hope everything works out for you.

It is a poor advert for the development academy as players who progress to the first team hardly get a look in. It is sad to see youngsters like marcus going but he won't get a chance at stanley. good luck and thanks Marcus.

wrong.

if he was good enough, he would have got more game time.

stanley have nothing to gain and everything to lose if they have good players come through the system, dont get a fair chance and get released.

Please name 1 academy player who you consider didn't get a good enough opportunities and is now in league 1 or higher.

Bobby Grant and Chris Turner got a good run in the first team...

Not sure Carver is league Two level but will run through brick walls for you, Can see him going to Barrow or Chorley!

Dan posted a couple of videos of training on twitter.... Said that shay, terry, buxton and Boco were all there and expected to sign contracts soon. Good news.
