The defeat by Luton caused an outbreak of sensible thinking amongst our constituents, with 4 fearing a second consecutive defeat and 6 more not expecting us to get back to winning ways in another game against play-off contenders . But sensible thinking and Stanley don't go well together, so yah boo sucks to the 10 of you.

Which leaves 18 of us to add satisfaction from accruing prediction league points to delight at Stanley accruing 3 points where it really counts . Just 2 of the 18 taking maxis, Tom D moving up from 7th to 4th and me from 19th= to 14th, while only Cashman (17th to 15th=) and Jims Lad (welcome back - no change at 28th, but closer) picked up a bonus for Aaron's hard-earned clean sheet. 12 taking the bare 3, then, and a few pessimists and drawmongers getting a BP for 0-0, 1-1, 1-2 or 1-3. Top 3 unchanged.

No resulting changes of personnel in the Top Ten, but Ossy Kid (drawmonger) and Monkey Hanger (pessimist) dropped down from 5th and 6th to 9th and 10th respectively, falling behind Lord S, DaveinGermany and AccyMad. And Outback Ozzy dropped from 4th to 5th due to Tom D's rise.

So, roll on Stevenage, clattered 7-1 by Luton yesterday, on Tuesday. Now when did we last play someone who'd been clattered by Luton Oh yes .... Oh no Surely that particular brand of lightning can't/won't/mustn't strike twice
