Maxi Tom D Stretches The Gap, Just Like Stanley

Only 2 maxis on a very good Friday , with one going to our leader enabling him to stretch his lead to 3 points over Mab . Ossy Kid took the other to rise from 14= to 12=, overtaking Wynonie. From the Top Ten, which featured no changes in personnel overall, only Div3North and Cashman picked up an additional point for Aaron's umpteenth clean sheet, moving from 8th and 10th to 6th and 7th respectively (nosebleed time if you go much higher boss ), aided by Monkey Hanger taking only a single point from his position on the fence and thus dropping from 6th to 10th. Outback Ozzy also took just the one, having been the sole pessimist to forecast the end of the run , enabling Leylandii to scramble past him back onto the podium in 3rd. AccyMad, without a bonus, dropped from 7th to 8th, but AndyD hung on in 5th.

Lower down, Stevie R moved from 20th to 18th at the expense of drawmongers Accybeme and Revived Red, and Proccy Fan similarly moved by Football19 into 22nd. Kiwi John and I went with Desmond , and as a result were the only players to get nowt , but it didn't cost either of us positionally.

I feel obliged to note that the scoring system gave Ferret Man 4 points, despite his being 17 off with regard to Stanley's goal tally. This moved him from 30th to .......... 30th , but improved his average points per game considerably.

So, with half of a tricky Easter successfully negotiated, it's roll on the Magpies to hopefully put the icing on the hot cross bun. All good things have to come to an end , I know, but perhaps not quite yet .... perhaps not ever! 40 points from the last 45 sounds incredible , but 101 points from the season would be quite insane .
