42 years, 3 months and 25 days since...
...the last time Accrington had a professional football club.
A truly great day for all proud Accringtonians anywhere in the world. Thanks to Eric, John, Jimmy and all the players, directors and staff for making our dream come true. Let's hope it's not long before we're back in the football league, where we belong! |

Stanley were on TV this morning. Plenty of people in Blackpool who know I support Stanley have mentioned it to me.
All very good exposure for the club.

Been up there this morning... SKY SPORTS camera and BBC camera and a few jurnolists and photographers there.. ITV are due this aft..
Lots of familiar faces and lots of new faces there ... No JK. Pics in a few mins |

Well done Kipax. perhaps your pics will provide us with a few answers which the club seems to have been reluctant to give to the website......
a) Have Steve Hollis, Steve Flitcroft and Andy Procter now signed or not? b) Who is Paul Carvill, and has he signed? c) Is Darren Kempson back in the fold for this season? d) Have we ANY goalkeepers? Even if your pics don't give the answers Kipax, maybe you saw or heard something..? In the meantime, congrats to the club. Let's hope they go from strength to strength. It's been a long, long wait. |

According to the Evening Telegraph, we have a goalie called Danny Allcock on trial from Barnsley. To be fair to the club, they're probably a bit up in the air with the goalkeeper situation until we have a decision from the jobsworthies about the Aussie.

Oldgobbin - Paul Carvill has signed after being released from P.N.E. Darren Kempson was offered back to Stanley on a year long loan, but the management weren't too happy with that and discussions are still ongoing.
All this information is off the club website.
