Class B Shares
Quote:

What Does Class B Shares Mean?

A classification of common stock that may be accompanied by more or fewer voting rights than Class A shares. Although Class A shares are often thought to carry more voting rights than Class B shares, this is not always the case. Companies will often try to disguise the disadvantages associated with owning shares with fewer voting rights by naming those shares "Class A", and those with more voting rights "Class B".

For example, one Class A share may be accompanied by five voting rights, while one Class B share may be accompanied by only one right to vote, or vice versa. A detailed description of a company's different classes of stock is included in the company's bylaws and charter

Don't take my word for it.

From what I've seen on google that is not far from the truth in most cases but I'd like to see a bit more about it before I make my mind up.

Doug mentioned it in his post. It could be quite important because it seems that voting rights are involved.

Well if this is the case to help Stanley out, Dave and the remainder of the board are not going to have to dip their corporate hands in their own pockets. 250K from share issue, assuming all are sold + SOS fund = a damn sight more than 308k - maybe this is a scheme to put Stanley up for sale to the fans without any voting rights. And why now? After all the furore with Ilyas and saying they were not going to issue further shares they go and do this! On a personal note, I would love a share in Stanley, but I am very suspicious of this and until someone from the club announces further details then I will have to wait and make my own judgment on this.

From the info out there at Moment I agree WRONG, but we need to see the Details ?

How do these shares count in the 100% of total shares ?
Does this affect other shareholders % ie 51% becoming 45% ?
How do the club value 'B' shares ?
How are they valueing(?) the club ?

So many Questions.....

And WHY now ???????????????????????????????????????????????
