Strange goings on at Morecambe, Derek Adams has resigned & is expected to be named as Bradford's new manager later today. Maybe he didn't fancy life in league 1???

no he,ll fancy being on look north yorkshire with a bradford scarf round his neck extolling the vertues of bradford city, big club, sleeping giant blah blah blah. his pay check will be bigger and thats what we all work for, to pay the bills. he,d hardly be using food banks at morecambe where he,d have security at a club not known for sacking managers after a defeat. he could have been morecambes version of coley but prefered money and another possible sacking in the next 12 months.

A few Bradford fans in work were saying a week or two ago that this was going to happen.

The expectations at Bradford are massive, so Derek Adams is going to have to hit the ground running if he's going to last. I don't think anyone can blame him for having higher ambitions.

Don't know what the fuss is about.
Manager does well gets a club promoted and improves his CV.
Someone else comes along better set up more money etc.
Why would he turn it down ?
Also ask Morecambe why he wasn't tied to a contract if they wanted to hold on.

What fuss he,s had a success at Morecambe and he moves on for more money at a " bigger " club even the Shrimp,s forum aren't fussed wishing him all the best and thanks for the promotion, but he,s not universally liked his surly interviews, falls out with himself. Decent manager he,s proved that but doesn't appear bothered about being liked hope we never get him. Bradford is a poisoned chalice at the moment match made in heaven.

years ago a manager who moved down a division to another club was thought as making a backward step. if he had moved to a so called bigger club in division 1 it would have been thought of as a good career move. now its just a money move and no more. bradford fans must realize this and he,ll only be there if he is successful till a better money option is on the table somewhere else.

Morecambe have announced their new manager, Stephen Robinson - ex Motherwell & Oldham. Never heard of him myself but wish him & the shrimps luck (he does know they never beat us, right?)
