and done on a bit of a shoestring budget and excellent loan signings. a big change from recent years where teams have bought promotion. it certainly was a nerve shredding game listening to it on radio tees.

Did anyone hear the rumours about Jon Melish ?

He didn't turn up for the first two days of training at CUFC [despite being under contract ] and is rumoured to be engineering an exit to a North West based League One club.

Youd be looking at somewhere in the region of 150 - 200k [ They don't need to sell for the money as they posted a 750k profit last year ] Now doesn't seem like Andy or Coleys MO but Accys name has certainly been mentioned.

Left footed defender/ midfielder ended up their leading goal scorer with 14 obviously going somewhere, Sunderland favourites I read and he hails from Gateshead.

Excitement over

Apparently, he got caught up in the Portugal regulations changing and couldn't get a flight out in time to avoid a Home quarantine for Balmy Boris don't these people realise Pre Season training is way more important than some old pandemic

Only a start, but let’s hope it leads to some improvements in the EFL.

the best improvement would be the E.F.L. pack in and let someone decent run it.

all this is fine if some action is done about these points and its not just more talk again. think the vast amount of fans will agree with these improvements as well.

so the answer is for more clubs to get winding up orders and more burys and macclesfields about. at least teams who have had financial problems in the past will know what they are talking about. far better than some ex public schoolboy politician giving us a lecture on our finances. doubt there are many fans of lower league clubs that think doing nothing is not the answer.

Swindon close to the edge their council taking them to court over 15 months unpaid rent for the stadium, players not paid last month and manager leaves after about 2 minutes in the job.

yes, more money clubs get the more some get into a financial mess. in the last 20 years i,d love to know how many have been close to going under that we have missed. possibly a few previously well run clubs and not the basket cases like hartlepool or stockport that have always gone from bust to boom but quickly get back to bust again.

Sheffield Wednesday suspended 6 points deduction for failure to pay wages numerous times, Derby County suspended 3 points deduction for one missed payment of wages should imagine will be implemented if they do it again.

Best wishes to Michael Appleton. Going in to hospital soon for an operation to remove a testicular cancer tumour. Hope he is back on his feet and running Lincoln like a tight ship.

Oh dear entire Sheffield United first team to isolate for 10 days after 2 players picked up the virus on a preseason tour of Spain the 2 affected have been left in Spain the rest in isolation will have to train alone at home, bad news on the eve of the new season can see lots of interuptions especially at the start then hopefully settle down.
