Burnley Reserves v Stanley Reserves

Tomorrow night if you want to see some real footie rather than the International Stuff:eek:

Stanley Reserves are away at the Turf taking on Burnley Reserves 7pm ko

Admission prices are £4 for Adults & £2 for Concessions and hopefully with a strong Burnley side it should make for a good game:)

A decent game, Stanley gave it a go in the second half with a great strike from Luke Joyce followed by a couple of good chances for Stanley before higher league experience took hold for the Clarets and guided them home to a comfortable 3-1 score-line in the end.

I think Mr. Coleman may have seen on show the perfect striker for Stanley in Jay Rodriguez maybe worth a cheeky loan bid you never know?

I thought the first half was fairly even, first 15 minutes of second half Stanley had the better of during which Luke Joyce scored a cracker and Alan Burton had a one on one which he should have scored. After that Burnley edged it.

Coley & Jimmy were in the dugout, the 4th official knew they were there ;) but I think Coley met his match with the kids at the back of the dugout giving him some stick when he came back out at half time, much to his amusement :D

He would be ideal for Stanley but I think he is too much of a first team squad player to let go.

There's a match report in the Telegraph:
FULL-TIME: Burnley Reserves 3 Accrington Stanley Reserves 1 (From Lancashire Telegraph)

I see one of our forwards was Bradley Hudson Odoi who played for Hereford in League One after starting out as a Fulham trainee. He's since played for Histon in the Conference. More on him at:
