Looking to the future 3 Stanley stalwarts are nearing the twilight of their careers McConville 32, the brilliant Hughes 34, Conneelly our skipper 32 all 3 have been brilliant at times for Stanley backbone of several teams, but all will be a year older and Coley will be looking beyond them natural it comes to all players, the key question is for the management is how longer they will be first choice selection,s and in Sean,s case is he worth another deal big decisions in the progress of the club.

these lads must be reaching an age where they either drop down a couple of leagues or move on to another part of their lives. its a sad day for most fans when they do go especially if they have to drift into lower part time football for financial reasons. not everyone is kevin ellison by a long way and i hope all three have something to fall back on once they have to retire on their terms.

Got to say that Sean took quite a bit of treatment from the Burton players yesterday and on another day - maybe - would have given some back...

Just hope that this is the start of him learning to control himself :)

Bound to get a red after 10 minutes at Oxford :D
