What happens with our kit then? Are we still having them made by Samurai Sports?

And am i right in saying that it renews half way through the season?

I know that weve recently had our new alternative away kit but regarding our home shirt im sure we have now had it for a season?

the red samurai was introduced part way through the previous season if I remember rightly? It really bugs me when kits are introduced mid-season as it becomes difficult to log which kit belongs to which season.

But I'd not be bothered in the slightest bothered if that yellow and blue thing was confined to the archives :rolleyes:

I also dont get this. Before the season everyone gets the bug and excitement and youd think thats when youd sell more shirts?

thought we`d had our new one for at least a season now!

I’m guilty of posting without thinking of the implications,
but I feel sure the brains at Store First could have come up with something more imaginative than the square head
why not winstanley in the Store First strip

As far as I am aware the Samurai deal has another year to run, a New Shirt should be well past the Drawing Board stage by now particularly if it is being launched pre-season?

I would also imagine it is a peak time for shirt sales so no skimping Stanley lets have some new stock in the Shop and get those tills ringing.

As Dave said anything that brings money into the Club especially based locally via sponsorship is good with me:) and well done to those that made it happen.

Winstanley is the Stanley mascot.

Boxhead is the Storefirst mascot.

Winstanley was seen less at the end of last season as we couldn't find someone to regularly dress up whilst conforming to safeguarding regulations.

However this has been sorted for next season.

thanks for the info, great that someone knows, having seen the boxhead at the last games of the season I thought that winstanley had been retired and the boxhead was our new mascot

To the original question we started the 2011-12 season with the Samurai Home Shirt it was launched to pre order in March 2011.

So maybe somebody at the Club has a launch date for the New Shirt for the forthcoming season?
