Really sorry to see him go but his departure was inevitable far too good to be playing in front of 1500 gates; good luck & thank you Amine

Thought Linganzi was immense for us in the games he played and certainly a positive factor in avoiding relegation. Wish him well as certainly good enough for League 1 - he's still young and regular, competitive games may help him realise his potential.

More worrying for us, is that despite lads who have already signed up, the recognised better players (Molyneux, Boco, etc) from last season are obviously holding out for better offers elsewhere.

Be interesting to see who Beattie brings in and just how far his little black book extends. It's all gone quite on the Billy Sharp front, but a good signing or two may just swing others to consider Stanley. Money as always for us will be a stumbling block!

Billy Sharp linked with Reading, playing for Atkins again.

Worryingly the Chesterfield Chief Exec said he expects another player to sign this week and they have their sights set on 2 more when the snake returns from his holiday!

Gutted. But as others have said, FAR to good for League 2. Wouldent surprise me if he ends up back in the Championship before long.

Just been reading the Gills board, they are well pleased wi the signing, as pleased as we are gutted.

Sad to see Amine go but not really a surprise, can't blame the lad for wanting to play in a higher league & wish him well.
