What I found strange about JB Cashy, was his obsession on the long ball game.
He wanted to go route one ALL the time, could understand if that's the level he played at,but it wasn't.
Did he not trust the players to get it down and play?,very strange as when he played he always wanted it to feet

I'm very impressed with Deano (Winnard)

He has certainly tightened what was a shocking defence. Only one goal conceded in 4 pre-season games and that was scored by Andre Gray last night.

Douglas Bader also would have got a game last season but with Deano at centre back all seems well in the world.

Peter Murphy due back from injury in September and he will have to battle Deano for the captains armband.

Like a certain Mr.Crooks, it needs the right manager to bring out some player's potential, F19.
Time will tell if the potential many (including me) saw in Linganzi in his brief spell at Stanley can be realised, but it would have been nice to have been able to see what Professor Coleman could have done for him.

Any song Rangers fans sing are sectarian apparently, even the Hokey Cokey apparently Singing the Hokey Cokey could land football fans in sectarian bother - Daily Record .

When challenged nobody has ever managed to point out the sectarian lines but it just is however that's probably a debate too far for this forum. Infact it's a song celebrating the victory at the battle of the boyne.

The quote in the tweet is part of a version of that god awful don't send me home song and only relates to Windass as it vaguely rhymes with Sash.

He played at the base of a fluid diamond formation. He was slow to move the ball on and did not impress unfortunately.
Pompey have brought Baker in from MK dons and Lalkovitch from Walsall. They play either side of Roberts and behind d our target man Smith.
Danny Rose who arrived from Northampton played at the base with Doyle. Linganzi just was not on their wavelength and he has not been offered another chance.

Well done to Morecambe, any team that has 6 shots to their opponents 25 and wins must be either clinical or lucky.
But to be correct, Morecambe did have two Accy old boys on the pitch compared with the one for Pompey.
So it was more a case of Accy Old Boys B 2 - Accy Old Boys C 0.;)

Barry Roche showed why he is the best shot stopper in League 2.

We have 2 further Accy old boys nearly ready to return to the fray in Dean Winnard and Peter Murphy.

Add to this our takeover which finally looks to be on the brink of happening and we Shrimps are smiling again. Rotherham , Blackpool and Portsmouth in 7 days is a decent achievement.

Allegedly Exile !!,they were like Brazil for 20 minutes in the first and then let Portsmouth have the ball who just played in front of them.
Bit like the 0-0 when Acci played at Pompey.
Portsmouths players and system would work well at the top of division one,but teams now sit deep and let the CBS have the ball, not sure if that's the way to get automatic promotion

Totally unbiased opinion morecambe red,but posters on here will tell you I am from the Bobby Moore school of "if you don't conceded, you'll win more than you lose !!"
Morecambe's team have some of the fastest lads l have seen in league two,but equally the widemen don't consistantly help the fullbacks.
Michael Rose will be key for you this seen, like Connelly is for Acci.
Tighten up defensively and they will do ok.
I think Acci will finish in top ten,I sure of that !!

I am hoping/expecting Dean Winnard to improve the defence and Peter Murphy to play alongside Michael Rose as holding midfield players.

We may have to withstand cash offers for Tom Barkuizen before the "window" closes.
