Re: Former Players!

To be fair Ant has worked under some good coaches,so I don't think taking training will be a jssue, and Wigans success came when ex players took the reigns in lieu of big time Charlie's- Jewel and Martinez spring to mind,so Cooky will be welcomed.
Don't know about Jimmy tho,you need championship players to win the league.

Bit harsh, Terry's done a good job for us during his time with Stanley - best of luck to him

Big drop for Terry that, 2 leagues and I would assume part time, he is at least league 2 or conference national level, maybe a bit of a hasty choice, but I wish the lad all the best always gave 100%

Reading between the lines Nige I think that El Tel was looking for part time. Maybe he has personal/business requirements that restrict him. I think it was Dan Jewell who tweeted summat along the lines of "should help him find his work/life balance better"

He's only 27 and should be in his prime now, Chorley have got a great player for that level

You can earn more money playing semi-pro if you have another job, and it is better long term if late 20s or above.

Totally agree mate but apart from Macca's work/life post wasn't aware that Terry had another career up his sleeve

Good luck to Terry. I won't forget how brilliant he was, particularly during the first playoff run a few years back. He was the best striker in the League that season.

As other's have said, Chorley have got a great signing for that level.
