Was at the game last night. You cant fault Matty ever for heart and enthusiasm and of course got his goal - but bear no bones about it this is a tough step up for him.
He did ok - not great not poor.

So reckon everyone knows the step up aint easy, only way to find out is experience at that level.

Think everyone knows it will take a lot of hard work to establish himself at championship level.
He's got the raw tools, just hope he stays injury free and progresses

People need to be careful of what is expected.
Some on here just before the move were describing him as a ready made Championship player. He isn't.

To have a chance at that level,you need technique,good attitude,balance and speed.
I expect him to improve in all these areas in the next 12 months,although he already has a fantastic attitude
