Mansfield

Great game today, first 20 mins we could have been 3 up. Mansfield scored from a Davies mistake( first all season to be fair) then they pressured us for the rest of half with there long ball physical approach. Second half started more even then we made good sub's and billy scored a volley and although we scored another we could have scored a couple more before Mansfield scored a good free kick and we hung on a little for a great win especially considering the referree was against us throughout the game. In future we may need to be more clinical but it was a great win!

GREAT RESULT.......3 POINTS AWAY FROM HOME!!!:jimbo:
With five out of the next six matches at home we have a great chance to cement our place in the play off places and present ourselves as realistic promotion challengers!
I followed the match on Fishy live text and on the BBC live text and it was very 'nervy' towards the end.
Coley said on the Fishy site this morning that we needed to come away from Mansfield with 'something', which suggested that he would probably have been pleased with one point, but to come away with all three points is simply splendid!!!
Sounds like he got the substitutions right today as he went on the attack with Shay and Terry helping Billy up front.
Well done STANLEY!:jimbo:
ON STANLEY ON!!!

Great result after the disappointment at the Cobblers. Well done to all at the club and the fans who saw it.:)

Big result, everyone above us except Wycombe and carlisle won. Pleased for mingoia, lots of hard graft from him every game that doesn't necessarily get rewarded with goals - noticed this season he is often closed down by 2 players.

Also a few people have said 5 of the next 6 games are at home, has one of the postponed games been rearranged and I missed the announcement (not the Hartlepool game)?

Sums it up pretty well, thought Joss was immense first 20 mins, then did a vanishing act, the 3 up before they scored is 100% correct, 2 one on ones were missed in that period, Terry did well when he came on, though he missed a one on one, near the death.Personally thought the subs were brought on in time to make an impact, which i thought they did,;)

Great three points.
Spoke to my mate, stags season ticket holder and he said we edged it.
He said we looked a decent said who never stopped running.
They liked the look of windass and were surprised when he got subbed!!
The final score suggests Coley was correct and my mate had tipped us for a playoff place

great win against a side we always seem to do well against. sorry to sound a bit glass half empty but we seem unable to keep a clean sheet nowadays. anyone knows when dean winnard will be back as we seem a lot more secure at the back with dean in the side.
