It's the first paragraph Cashy, confused me as well - in fact the whole thing seems like it was rushed, also says at the beginning that tickets to season ticket holders, loyalty card holders & NON season ticket holders are on sale from Monday then lower down that non season ticket holders can buy them from Thursday?? Methinks it had to be put out quickly & there was no time for any proof reading :)

Lesson learnt from t'Burnley match - multiple tickets ALLOWED
Lesson not learnt from t'Burnley match - round 2 more expensive than round 1

It also says that season ticket holders can't have their own seats but they will endeavour to seat you near to your seat .
If that's the case they might as well let you sit in your season ticket seat .
Who's sorting this ,it's smacks of amateurism at best
What's the point of selling them early to season ticket holders, if they are going to sit you anywhere.

I don't know why they don't just release them all for general sale straight away. It won't sell out (especially since it's still peak holiday season) so may as well sell to whoever wants them.

Not getting your ST seat is just a first world problem. Go and stand in the Clayton End for a nice change - if it means someone who's a non-ST holder will pay £20 into the club coffers for your seat then all is well.

Got to agree M'lud.
As long as those who need a seat can get one, why all the fuss?
We all know that cup matches are not included in the s/t package & you can't blame the club for trying to maximise profit from hospitality, especially for big games like this.
S/t holders will still be given first dibs on a seat in the stand, surely a little flexibility is not unreasonable in this situation for the good of the club.
I pay exactly the same for my s/t to stand in the Clayton End as those who pay to sit, but I don't complain if I find someone standing in my usual spot on the terrace.

In that case why do I bother paying up front 2/3 months before the new season if I cant have my usual seat, that's the whole point of season tickets you get first choice :)

Neither do I, but I do start a couple of very loud songs right down their lughole until they move voluntarily

if you roll up on monday you should be allowed to have your seats. remember after the west brom game you,ll be there all the time for the rest of the season. no point having threads like waking up local residents if regulars are being giving a poor deal.
