Who can cut it in Div 1?

Which players will be good enough next year?

Johnson, The Don, Coneely, Seany, Dunne, Clark, Jackson should step up easily enough I’d have thought.

Richards Everton and Harvey if he regains his form should also do the business.

Not sure about Super Bill or Chappers.

Hughes, Nolan and Brown may struggle.

Who will be sold for decent money? Jackson?

Will Coleman work his usual magic with signings and loans? I would think new signings at a higher level will be harder, but he might still get some very good loanees.(I think we’ve a good chance of keeping Dunne for another few months).

Will anyone come in for Coleman with an offer he can’t refuse? That, obviously, is the doomsday scenario. I hope Andy Holt is paying him well and that he’s become too typecast at Stanley.

Reckon overall we should be able to make mid table.

don't know what makes you think Haircut will good enough for L1.

Can't believe you are not sure of Chappers & Super Billy??

IMHO, probably our two best players this season, and, as such, will thrive next season!!

Agree, though, mid table realistic (whatever squad JC can assemble, presuming he resists the lure of Arsenal!)

Other than these, I tend to agree with your opinions.

You do know there's a game on Saturday and a point to be won?

Doesn't feel right talking about who won't cut it right know.

Yeah, but, whatever, we are still in Div 1 next season, whether as champs or second, so this post is still relevant! Opinions welcome!:):)

Sorry, Endeavor, just re-read your post.....
Are you thinking that any of our comments may be seen as negative by some squad members, & thereby affect their performances over last two games??

this post for me would be more revellant after we play swindon. some will go others will stay. i,m sure coley will bring in players we have never heard of and do a good job. plus we are a division higher so better loanees will come in.

Re: Who can cut it in Div 1?

The lads who have got us where we are will be fine in div 1 if they continue to believe in John and Jimmie and themselves. It,s team spirit that makes a successful team not individuals. Give me eleven players giving 100% and you can keep the "stars". I'm sure J&J will add players to strengthen the squad if the think it's needed.
