Re: 6th july v nelson

Should be a good day, big Stanley connection at Nelson (think it's through our new manager), with Chris Turner, Nat Taylor, Adam Stockdale plus ex youth players like Joe Wilkinson.

I've been following both clubs for a good few years so one to look forward to.

Was announced on Nelson website last week, apparently Beattie's first game in charge Accrington Stanley to visit Victoria Park - Nelson Football Club

Two junctions further down the M65 from Burnley. It's about 10 miles from Accrington.

Get on the M58 and head for Skelmersdale, then get on the M6 heading for Preston. Exit at J29 onto the M65 and head towards Burnley. At J12 take the A682 to Nelson.

A cheeky 20 minute train ride from Accy for this one methinks.

Re: 6th july v nelson

Thanks.
I took the train to Accy for a game this season, it took nearly 2 hours door to door instead of the usual 40 minutes or less in a car.
It was also more expensive by train

If the public didnt subsidies the railway so much, maybe the 85% of tax and VAT we pay per litre wouldn't be so high
