Not too good a day for Stanley fans with the news of Ripley's departure & rumours that more may join him but I've got to admit the news that Stoke have nipped in & appointed (former) Luton manager Nathan Jones as their new gaffer cheered me up a little.
Just had a peep on the Hatters forum & oh dear they're not happy bunnies - Judas Jones is just one of the more polite names they're calling him now.
I think the point not thing that could put the icing on the cake would be if they now appoint Westley, my word - their cup would runneth over :D

no they won,t get westley, they,ll wait a few weeks to get paul lambert after he walks or gets the sack at ipswich.

Another little gem that I couldn't help but smirk at was the 9 nil drubbing Burton received at the hands of Manchester City last night - I know you shouldn't gloat but just couldn't help it. There's the 2nd leg to play yet too - it's like the gift that just keeps giving :)

that game at burton must rank as the most pointless semi final ever. wonder how many of us would bother turning up to the wham if we were in the same boat.
