I've just read that t'Stanley are looking for a new press officer. This may explain why, a few weeks ago, after I had sent in a spoof 1st April story for use by the office, I received no response or acknowledgement of receipt, even though I asked for one in my opening sentence/

I felt let down. I cannot imagine writing to the Wham factory and not receiving a response to an email. Correspndents should be treated with courtesy

My article - which was centred on t'Stanley changing name to become Real Accrington Stanley next season, did extract the urine from Coley and Lloydy, but I am sure they would laugh it off
