Just a bit of fun but who would you like Stanley to bring in nothong silly,I wouldn't mind Callum Lang from Wigan probably loan and I wonder if Jose Baxter would be worth a risk exceptional talent just needs the right club would like Anderton back.

With the new pitch I’d go all out for Messi, and maybe a 1 year with an option for Ronaldo if he doesn’t go missing in the winter Tuesday nigh games if we can’t keep Clark ( you said it was a bit of fun).
Regretably think we’ll be shopping in Aldi again, I just hope we are not wasting money on Mangan-like signings.

Personally I still don’t think Mangan was ‘wasted money’ at all.

I reckon only 5 of yesterday’s starting XI will be with us next season.
Can’t see Wood, Nolan or Williams staying.
Feels like we have 2 2nd choice keepers at the minute. Both show glimpses of promise then silly errors let them down.
Definitely need full back’s, a creative midfielder and more strikers considering our only choices will be Kee, Ozzy (although I’m not sure he’s staying) Simmonds & Andy Scott.

Few people have mentioned Danny Rowe at Fylde. Priced out of him before (crazy!) but he’s 29 now, 30 next season so will he be tempted by a shot at League 1

Eastleigh’s goalkeeper Luke Southwood looks pretty good, considering he made some fine saves vs Salford. One to watch certainly

Please tell me what Mangan contributed on the field during his final stay with us ??? Biggest waste of money I can certainly remember.

Keeper at Grimsby has won player of the year for the third time running. Grimsby allegedly have the third lowest wage bill in L2 - might be in our price bracket even with a transfer fee (1 year left on his contract)

If we're talking keepers, I suppose the criteria is how many clean sheets he's kept during the season.
For the record, the Grimsby keeper has kept 15 in 46 matches.
In comparison, Rob Lainton of Wrexham has kept 21 in 44 games played.
More importantly he conceded only 1 yellow card & '0' red cards all season.
Ryan Boot of Solihull Motors is close behind with 20 c/s. in 45 games.
Stanley's record is only 6 c/s. in 46 games played.
We won't mention the red cards! :o :o :o

Coz I would love to have a direct connection to the club, my young friend Matthew Gould ,GK at Spennymoor. Grew up here in Havelock North and a fantastic football pedigree. Been in terrific form for Spenny.

And probably earning more than some Championship players

Ask the question; why are Bury about to go "bust"??

Answer playing Championship wages in L1 and L2:mad:

Very probably but it's a bit of fun and like I said he,s quality might need to drop his wage demands if nobody at championship level wants him.

Did anyone predict our last three ace Coley signings? (Finley, K Jackson, Beckles?)
