Zanzala totally out of order. Internally or publicly is irrelevant.
Good times bad times team comes first.
I know what I’d do ...... transfer window closes in 20 days.

Poorest away performance and lack of desire I have witnessed for several seasons. The fighting over the penalty wouldn’t have happened if senior players weren’t absent. Midfield so weak. I’ve seen thoroughly soaked rich tea biscuits with more backbone!

Anyway, a couple of days in Norwich to forget about it.

Re Jordan, is there an offer hence his absence or am I missing something ?

Senior players? Like Conneely, Hughes, Johnson....
Can’t fault Conneely, Finley was dire.

Hughes ?

This happened in the promotion season with Zanzala away at Wycombe. Only then we were three up .....
Get a grip son no one bigger than the club.

Coleman saying Clark out with hamstring.

Really missed him, and disappointed with Carvalho as a replacement.
This team performance reminded me of the second half of the Peterborough away game - dreadful.
No fight until it was too late, arguing amongst themselves, no one taking charge in midfield, indecision, too slow in thought and action, easily knocked of the ball, poor ball control, hit and hope passes and headers... the list goes on. Was that even NAtional League standard?

Twenty Eight 11-01-2020 19:41

Re: Ipswich Town match thread

Clark’s injury might not be as bad as feared.
Bloody hope so .............

Time for a reality check????
Perhaps the surprise is not that we took a beating from a big club with ambitions of promotion, but that we've managed to survive for so long with a team consisting largely of loanees, rejects & freebies.
There's a limit to what is achievable without players of proven quality at this higher level.
Let's be honest, most of our squad are L2 standard at best - some would struggle to make it in a decent Conference team.
It's a miracle we're even competing in L1 against big city clubs with huge budgets.
Win or lose, enjoy the ride - while it lasts!

Oh for God sake standard stuff Lord.
When are you going to wake up and smell the coffee ?
We are a league one club and need to start operating like one.
The alternative ? Well what most posters on here like to put up with “well if we go down we go down” Try telling that to to the 150 plus who got on a coach / drove all those miles.
Not good enough.

Yes we are a league 1 club by merit and bloody hard work down the years still a bit behind" bigger" clubs eg:- training ground a must asap IMHO budget have to be realistic like I said 1 hiccup I,ve seen loads down the years it's all part of supporting your team as is your opinions post match all part of the fun, Southend a winnable home game next week sure John will pick his 11 as he sees it.

Come on 28, read my post. I was referring to the penalty incident only.

I consider both your Jordan and Sean Mc the type of senior players who if they were in the vicinity of the argument then that would not have happened.

Hughes would be back on the half way line well away from it and the captain has many qualities but I don’t see his presence in that sense. Before you snap back in his defence, that is not necessarily a criticism.

As for Johnson being a senior player, I don’t see that as instilling discipline on the field.

Jesus, talk about over reactions.
Yes today is a bad result but we’re still in more than a healthy position.
Have a little bit of perspective please.
