Since, or so it would appear, that there is little or no interest in analysing or discusssing the business surrounding last Saturday's game at Ipswich. Which, if when reading the title of this thread was its original intention.
Is it not time for Mr.T. to draw it to a more dignified ending than the one which is being currently pursued ?.

ON STANLEY ON !.. TO EVEN GREATER THINGS !!...:alright::alright: ??.

I was only letting it "run" as the "debate" did have some interesting points !!

One or two bits of wrong information.

I'll leave it with this one;

ASFC L1 wage budget is £1.5 million; highest it's ever been under any manager

Average L1 wage budget is over £3 million.

Several clubs in L2 pay over £2 million

I am reminded of the motto on the Coat of Arms of Accrington....

http://www.kipax.com/images/asfc_badge.gif

Industry; Hard work...Certainly applies to. Andy Holt, John and Jimmy and the players in training and playing matches.
Prudence;Cautious and careful use of funds available. In our case we do not have the financial clout to match other League One clubs.
Conquer; Accrington Stanley have been successful in moving up through the Non League Pyramid and back into the Football League.
The return of Accrington Stanley is a magnificent story. Those of us who have watched the demise in 1962 and the return of our club over the last fifty years would never have dreamed that we would be where we are now.

Without INDUSTRY and PRUDENCE we would not have CONQUERED!

ON STANLEY ON!:theband:
INDUSTRY AND PRUDENCE CONQUER!

are you suggesting respect should not be earned, not given away like toffee?

To get back(ish) on thread... whilst we were all disappointed on Saturday, most of the other results went in our favour :) (not that we should ever bother about anybody else)

Tonights results, again went our way :)

Win at home on Saturday and we are back on track :)

:) :) :)

Even when one disagrees with another there can be respect. Your tactic historically has always been to throw insults when you are unable to come up with anything constructive.

Thought this was closed??

Anyway, a win tomorrow is all that is required, never really had Ipswich away down as a win....

Anything is possible, granted, but home wins in the next few weeks against, Southend, one of the Wimbledon's and Tranmere and we will be in our 15th season and 3rd in League 1 :)
