Lincoln match thread

AKA what time do you reckon it will be postponed or abandoned?

I am going for 2.30pm, but hoped it would be done by now rather than attempt to play a match during the worst part of a storm.

The ref always inspects before kick off according to the laws. Teh weather is bad now before the storm has started but the pitch is probably okay now, however it won't be in 3 or 4 hours.

Most local matches off in national league. MCFC was called off around 1100 last week for a 1630, and there would be nothing wrong with the pitch, fan safety comes in and Lincoln fans will have set off or be setting off.

Winds in Accrington from 1pm onwards forecast for between 40+ that is not football weather regardless of the pitch and not good for watching or more importantly supporters of both sides safety in traveling to and fro from the stadium call it off not just us but any club with a similar forecast.

i for one am staying put. if its like last sunday i,d have problems getting home with the floods in my area. both roads i could use were flooded. not worth it for what could be a 90 minute farce.

Jesus, what’s wrong with people. We went running 16 miles in the storm last Sunday. It was shocking, ****ed it down, trees had blown over ... but we had fun and what was the alternative? Love Island on catchup? Fixing the toilet seat?

Cum on, just play the bloody thing whatever the weather or state of the pitch. Both teams are mid table.... play some of the subs bench....get it on!
