Safe in my opinion ..... but for all the wrong reasons.

Thought this all year. When you consider some of the contract offers to players closest to Coley after promotion which have incurred significant unfulfilled cost and then your lad being overlooked, I do wonder what oversight and challenge Coley is put under.
I think we are safe, partly as there are also two less Games to play with no Bury, so less opportunity for Tranmere to gain traction and catch us.

He would be the first player out of the door for me. Coley can do better than that in the summer I’m sure. Time will tell

Don’t think he was too bad today however, Sam gets my vote there today

Really ? The naughty schoolboy ? Needs to focus on playing football rather than picking fights and shooting his gob off. Wonder what he said to the young Tranmere fan in the away seated area ?

When you see a young child deeply upset and trying to get on the pitch i can only imagine what he said.
I think he's got away with it.
But back to the subject.
You seriously think Conneely should be first out of the door ?
Wow.
Lets just throw one suggestion forward.
Zanzala ??

Apologies 28 don’t think I made myself clear, thought Sam was very poor today.

And yes fair doos I forgot about Zanzala....

From back to front thought Rogers Clicker were the only two decent performers today

Some player opinions from my amateur status!
Recently feel maguire has done well at full back, been steddy,
I actually feel we look better in midfield with Barclay alongside Connelly it gives us a solid base to allow particularly on Clark and Johnson's side the opportunity to get forward.
Opuku is frustrating me, clearly talented but at times wonder about his attitude. Near the end he went on a run forward, lost ball and just lied there no attempt to quickly get back.
Like others feel it isn't clicking for zanzala at the moment.
Regards this season as a whole we have been unlucky with a number of key performers. Since the start of the season to the current available side we are missing Kee, Hughes, Sykes and Mcconville.

You made yourself 100% clear. You said Conneely should be the first out of the door.
Unbelievable.
Or are you now saying it should be Finlay ?
Get a grip.

What are you talking about get a grip? you imbecile!

No wonder I don’t bother with this forum much anymore with miserable old clulesss sods like you here...

I thought Sam had a very poor game today, but I don’t want to see him leave the club, and yes to be clear if Seamus is out of contract I’d like to see him go because he is out of his depth. Thanks and have a lovely evening 28

The game, first 10 minutes we started off really well, Clark and Johnson caused lots of problems. They scored there goal, Bursik mistake but I suppose all goalies have them occasionally. We shouldn't have allowed a header on goal in the first place. After this we struggled to get playing again. I don't remember Scott Davies having to make a decent save from this point. There second goal I feel finlay could have cleared his lines.
Despite Scott Davies profercating the home fans there is absolutely no place for spitting on him. A terrible example to set to our young fans.
The team tried there best but it just wasn't to be.
Good flag display and minutes silence before hand.
It's going to be tough ahead with our defensive injuries and suspensions along with difficult fixtures but hopefully we can scramble the necessary points.
I watched the video of the chap (Harry Stephenson) that died this morning/recently. Truly inspirational and emotionally, helps remind you of the spirit of our club and how we need to vocally support them to get them over the safety line so we can sing, "the Stanley's staying up!"

Agree completely about the spitting - disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

I could see a fan went and spoke to the stewards to finger the culprit. I also spoke to a steward afterwards.
Young kids gesticulating at the keeper afterwards showed how they are influenced by such crap behaviour.

The other thing of note was the penalty area. Far too much sand. Compacted mud would be better.

Ref was poor, we were rubbish.

Very fair summary.............
