Have been enjoying these articles from past (and present) players.
Kayden’s final comment that, you never know, he might be back someday brought a ray of hope in an otherwise gloomy period.

one thing about it is that stanley made em all. bettinelli in his loan spell, windass, crooks and others have been helped and not hindered in their careers at the club.

i reckon players who have left and there are quite a few, that later speak very well of the club, says everything, we may not have loads of dosh, but we sure got summat more valuable imho.

only ever spoke to one ex stanley player who enjoyed his time with us saying that his game improved greatly with us more than enyway. however he did say that stanley would not be for everyone. suppose you could say the same thing as not every club would suit everyone, fans as well as players.
