Colby Bishop leaving

Looks pretty certain after listening to JC on Twitter. I know we are are ever destined to be a selling club but it’s damn annoying all the same, him and Ross in the same Summer.

Plus goalscorers who look competent and do a job are pretty hard to find.

"Believed to be"
"Undisclosed"
Isn't it about time there was some honesty ?
Or is it a case of not wanting to know what the profit is being spent on ?
Look I get it.
Selling club blah blah blah ....... and as still being seen as an outsider albeit followed the club home and away for many years (excluding covid) genuinely I think the fans would like to know.
Not in a negative sense but in a sense of knowing where the priorities lie.
Surely the time is ripe for re investment in the product on the pitch ?
Stand by for being slagged off ................

I am not in the slightest bit interested in knowing how much we get for players when sold as i consider we are a bit unique at Accrington Stanley as the owner, directors and manager has the best interest of the club and importantly the supporters at heart, other we wouldn't be where we are
today.

And there you have the stock reply.
Accy are not unique every club will tell you they have the interests of the club at heart.
Pitch - big tick.
Ground improvements - big tick.
Dressing rooms - big tick
Corporate facilities - big tick

Product on the pitch - ?

Stop looking upon what I've said with negativity. Never once said I don't applaud what's been achieved.
I would just like to see the spread sheet adjusted a little now and see if we can improve the squad.

Sir,

I hope you're not suggesting keep it hush so we can rob Leamington on the sell on clause ?
I thought we were better than that.

Well I,ve enjoyed the ride since that first game back in 1970.

Re: Colby Bishop leaving

Sorry to lose Colby, of course, especially to Pompey, but it would have been far worse to have a disgruntled wanting-away top scorer in the dressing room (again) .....

Not suggesting in any way that would have been his likely reaction if he'd still been here on opening day, but I'm pleased the slightest risk of it has been removed.
