just looked at Southend website - have signed keeper from Bury on loan, so obviously Tony Warner hasn't found himself a deal there. Also haven't picked up anything about Bryan Hughes - anybody got a clue ?

He is signing for Rotherham aparently.
Dont agree at all Rob, he was by far our best player last season and was the sole reason for our playoff push over xmas and into the new year. Yes he was unlucky when he popped his hamstring, but you speak to the players and ask them how good he was. Would have him back tomorrow. |

I'm not saying he wasn't a good player, and I'm not saying that we have better players already here - but we do have players already here so I wouldn't pay someone who 'technically' we don't need.
He was offered something and given a timescale to work to, he held out for better offers and we moved on and acquired other players. Great player at our level but a club with our budget CANNOT afford the luxury of players whose hearts aren't in it and whose battery powered mobility scooters might give out any moment  |
