Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
It's obviously very easy to forget the amount of money season ticket holders have put in before the start of the season, when there's so few of us.
Why didn't season ticket holders get the half price shirt offer?
The idea is a very good one, don't get me wrong. It should get a lot of revenue in, before Chrimbo especially. But the way this club has a habit of coming up with 'great marketing ideas' mid-season, and comlpetely forgetting about paid up season ticket holders while doing it, really annoys me.

Some good points!
It will always be a fine line between not offending everybody and maybe with that in mind and numbers we are talking about the Club perhaps could roll out the idea of the Half price shirts to existing Season Ticket Holders. At the end of the day you will shift more shirts and in a more direct way you got the best form of advertising going people walking round in the Clubs Colours
Is this the first time that the Club have offered a half season tickets of sorts?
If so then I think they should be commended

Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
yeah a good move by the club and shows they ar enow starting to think outside of the proverbial box. But it would be a better move to offer the half price shirts to existing ticket holders as well rather than rewarding those who didn't splash out earlier.

Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
Yet again the club have played a blinder - at the beginning of the season I was chuffed to bits to get 10% off stuff in the Stanley store with my season ticket, first time we've had the discount - maybe next year I should keep my hand in my pocket a bit longer & see what special offers the club comes up with later on on the season.
Don't get me wrong, the half season ticket is a brilliant idea & to do it as a flexi-ticket is also good but why should anyone who buys one have the half price shirt offer too, fair enough they should have the same discount as other season ticket holders but is it really fair to offer them more?

Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
On a lighter note I presume the drinks are cheap in the Crown ?
If you use all ten tickets for ten people on one day the £13 saved buys you all a drink in the Crown. Make mine a half
On a serious note the 50% is a great offer, hopefully the club will realise the error they have made towards their more loyal fans.

Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
another nice move by the club. both my wife and myself are season ticket holders, bought and paid for in May, we have also bought 2 shirts at full price at the beginning of the season. this is happening every season, remember the free child entrance to games, after we had bought a childs season ticket. There is no thought given to the present ticket holders. No wonder the season ticket holders are going down. I think there will be two more missing next seson. I'm not even considering the free match last season, it's not worth considering the purchase again unless the Club stop behaving so amateurish, and get their act together. All these offers should be thought out before the season and make the most of the resources available.

Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
I won't be buying a season ticket next year. As others have said, the half season ticket is great, but the lack of thought concerning people who shelled out in May for a season ticket is a serious flaw.
Another nail in the coffin for me.

I know I shouldn't but I can't help feeling pretty chuffed with myself for deciding not to renew my season ticket this season.

Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
Personally I think the club as a good will gesture should offer all the season ticket holders one of the t-shirts that have appeared in the clubshop (not online for you worthless fans who don't live in Accrington IMHO).
