Telegraph don't always get things right you know.

I spoke to one of his relatives last week and was told that he was keen to go fulltime

Re: andrew procter not goin full time

Would he still be able to play for the club if he doesn't want to go full-time?

Doesn't look like it. According to the Telegraph web site (currently available on http://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/la.../STANLEY0.html but probably not for long), the reason that Deano has given for leaving is that he can't afford to go full-time.

Re: andrew procter not goin full time

That's an interesting read that, cheers, Mike. It's interesting that Deano wants to stay in the conference....

Re: andrew procter not goin full time

Procter is studying for his degree isn't he? If he isnt goin full-time..it may be because he doesnt want to get to 32 and have been playing conference football for 10 years then have nothing to fall back on. Wages in the conference aren't going to set him up for life at all. And i doubt he is goin to play at a higher level.

Re: andrew procter not goin full time

Proccy is taking a sports science degree at Leeds Met which lasts 3 years. As he is now 21, he should be graduating this summer if he went there straight from school.

More information on any alleged reasons for not wanting to go full-time would be helpful.

Re: andrew procter not goin full time

interesting

Well there was always players who weren't going to sign and those who would have to go.
We have just got to trust Coley and hope he brings in some excellent new blood.
It's just a waiting game now!
