Re: Anyone Excited?
I tend to agree with you bagpuss, after the last two seasons it's hard to get excited about this coming season. Not much coming out of FES to boost excitement levels,i've been to the friendlies at darwen & rossendale and with the exception of 2 or 3 players nothing happened to really impress me.I hope the players prove me wrong because what matters most to me is the survival of accy in the league.
IT'S WHERE WE BELONG
ACCCY TILL I DIE AND THEN SOME..............

Re: Anyone Excited?
Well Diesel is excited, mentioned this thread to him earlier and said he can't wait!
He is as optimistic as ever and is looking forward to seeing Stanley in the play-offs!

Re: Anyone Excited?
Can but hope that the club gets information out sooner rather than later. Lets hope that the team spring some surprises in the league when it starts..............must clean my glasses sometime soon

Re: Anyone Excited?
Despite the increasing likelihood that we are going to be operating with a skeleton playing staff and the lack of news about new shirt launches, season ticket availability etc emanating from the club, I'm starting to get a little bit excited now. I know it's been said so many times it's almost a cliche now, but ten years ago I wouldn't have dared to dream that we'd be starting our third season back in the league in 2008/09.
...and I really am looking forward to visiting that real ale pub in Burslem for the first away league match!

Re: Anyone Excited?
What people are saying on this thread is quite right . There is non or very little information coming out of F.E.S.What has happened to the loan signings, it was discussed in the local papers about Jamie Clarke coming on loan from Blackburn Rovers, this news quite excited me, but this seems to have died a death, I wonder if Ince has stopped this loan? It wouldn't surprise me. Coley now is saying he hopes to get a Striker in from a Championship Club, there is definitely somthing untoward going on at the F.E.S.

Re: Anyone Excited?
not excitied at all.
we have 1 recognised striker at the club (john miles is not a striker, infact he is not a footballer).
i expct us to sign/get on laon at least another 3 forwards, a winger and a centre half.

Re: Anyone Excited?
Despite the lack of info coming out of the club surely any football fan has to be excited coming up to a new season?
The possibilities, the optimism it has to get to you, surely!!
