Baker out..Craney in...

We'll have to wait and see on that one, but certainly on Sammy's radar.

Could even be tempted to go for a former Accy player who had a trial with us some time back.

How much money will Morecambe get from any Baker deal? Southport should be rubbing their hands in glee eh?

Re: Baker out..Craney in...

Baker sold for £175,000 rising to £225,000 based on appearences.

We have to give Southport 30% of any profit on the £50,000 we paid them so that would be about £52,500 for them eventually.

I expect Sammy to try and tempt Eric with a bid for Craney but we need a left winger urgently so Mr Roberts would fit the bill.

We have taken striker Rene Howe on a years loan from Peterborough and he scored 10 in 19 games for Rochdale last season.

I bet Morecambe will be glad to get a new record sale under their belts. It'll eclipse their previous record sale...... Justin Jackson.

Re: Baker out..Craney in...

After tonights exploits against Donny I think Sammy would be better letting Craney ply his trade at Stanley because we don't need him and Roberts is another after seeing that Tangerines winger this evening.
It was great to see Donny put out their best side and still come away with nothing
I spoke to Ritchie Wellens and he see's Morecambe as a side that'll be challenging Stanley for the League Two title this season

Re: Baker out..Craney in...

Howe will be a handful at this level and will prove to be a clever signing.
We need to follow suit................

Re: Baker out..Craney in...

Crossed wires? We have to pay Southport their sell-on sum from THIS sale (to Stockport). Stockport would have to pay us a fee if they sell him on. That's it.
