Anyone interested in making a purely STANLEY band, Express it and we`ll see what we can do.
Maybe something which can go straight out onto the terrace without too much hassle and doesn`t rely entirely on me. Turn the Chants into songs and songs into chants. Maybe percussion based with lots of vocalists, the odd portable yet noisy instrument. Well co-ordinated could create a great atmosphere with people shaking maraccas, banging tambourines, bongos etc. and even a bit of brass if anyone knows how or wants to learn. Could even pass out lyric sheets,get more people joining in and get away from the Taunts everyone moaned about at Wrexham and concentrate more on bulling up our own boys. Providing it`s done well and knows when to come in and lift everyone and when to fade out to allow more basic "COME ON YOU REDS" type chants to ebb and flow it could be a serious weapon in the Stanley Arsenal. Stanley`s Angels down the front of the the Clayton end doing what Cheerleaders should, Chanting A C - R C I - GnT - O N. Probably make it more fun for the kids, and kids is da future. Couple of nights a month band practice in the club all drinking Stanley beer (cept me of course, never touch the stuff when working)  Percussion kits cheap at H+B. Well ?
