Re: Coleman

I am sorry that some of you feel that your board has been invaded - it was only a bit of friendly banter, we wanted and to see what you thought about the Coleman rumours. No one in my opinion has been 'spouting', digging or bragging (we have nothing to brag about in case you haven't noticed). There hasn't been one nasty or malicious post from Dale fans as far as I am aware. I hope that if any of you would like to join in the debates our forum you would be made more welcome.

Re: Coleman

I'm hoping beyond hope that he doesn't go - but mostly because I'm looking forward to the derby day game returning!!

Re: Coleman

Looks like there might be some truth in it after all. Harry Redknapp resigned at Spurs, he's clearly got his sights on the big job at the Crown Ground

Re: Coleman

I really hope John Coleman isn't tempted to go to Spotland. I'll be honest and say i wanted him to become Preston manager following Phil Browns sacking.

That surely would have been seen as acceptable by most if not all Stanley fans. Rochdale are nothing that Stanley can't be. OK they have a better stadium and a few more fans but they will never be in a position to go any higher than League One.

Stanley can most certainly aspire to equal that and there's every chance of bypassing Rochdale on the way.

Stick with what you are comfortable with Mr Coleman and finish what you started.

Re: Coleman

I don`t think he will go. But he has to see what`s on offer. I`m still hoping for that one more promotion that he thinks we have in us. And also I think that in the next few years he will be football`s longest serving manager. Rochdale will not be a great career move. Have faith. He won`t go.

Re: Coleman

You guys must be worried stiff.

Coley will go elsewhere some time but Rochdale?

Just wondered if Proctor's move has tempted him to at least talk to 'dale?

Hope he stays even though it'll probably mean us suffering once again.

cc totally agree .....Rochdale is not a positive career move and Proccy's move may have been a catalyst but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Coleman

Didn't he chat to Bradford and turn it down?

Re: Coleman

No because they couldn't afford the compensation. I suspect he would have gone to Bradford had the chance arrived. In truth, they are a massive club compared to Rochdale.

Re: Coleman

So far Coley`s been going to every club with a vacancy over the last few seasons. Bradford 2 or 3 times, Morecambe, Port Vale twice. Rochdale(this is the second time they wanted him), Bury. Any more anybody??

Rochdale job should go to Phil Brown. He`s working his way down the leagues. lol. And currently unemployed.
