He's paid to manage and pick the team and If you pay on the gate then you are entitled to your opinion and to have a moan. Fact.

Football's always been like that.

In Coley We Trust.

Dan Jewell @danjewellmedia
Just seen this BBC story about John Coleman criticising a section of supporters. It's 1 section of 1 answer from a 4 min interview

Re: Coleman's smear

He's right, we did play well, but that's not to say we couldn't have played even better, and perhaps won with a different selection. Ah well, I suppose that's put paid to any chance of Carver getting the nod at Pompey?

Re: Coleman's smear

Keith hill the Barnsley failure? He is not good enough for Stanley.

Now please go back to your own message board and stop dreaming about our manager, it is not good for your blood pressure.

Re: Coleman's smear

Because we care we all have opinions about what should be done when things aren't going to plan (shots on target being my beef) . That's one thing and perfectly natural. But Mab's post and Coley's comment suggest that there are a few gobby clowns who are way out of order with their supposed superior intellect concerning the noble game. If they are season ticket holders they can be readily identified and perhaps invited for a full and frank disclosure of their views at an early morning training session. Alternatively, how about organising a flash mob re-action by the supporters in front, turning round en-mass and expressing disapproval at their unhelpful and discouraging attempt to support(?) the team. We've precious few fans to support and can do without numpties.

Re: Coleman's smear

Im not on Coley's side for many things, but the attitude of some people in the main stand is a disgrace on occasion's.

I seem to remember being 3 or 4 nil up against Stockport at home a few years back and the main stand groaned when Cisak played a short goal kick. Quite laughable and pathetic really.

Saturday's performance was fantastic and on another day we could and should have scored 3 or 4, and yet still they moan.

Thank god I moved to the Clayton End a few years back !

Best idea yet. I must admit I was groaning on the Clayton End when Crooks missed his chances, as I did with McCarten's misses, but I applauded the loanee off the field when he was subbed, as it was plain to see he had given his all for the cause. It must really get on Coley's wick to hear the loud mouthed barrackers.
