Conference get Transfer Window
Just looked on ceefax page 323 and it says the conference will have a transfer window next season, which will be the same as the premiership and football league.
This means that no player will be able to be signed after August through till the end of the season except for the month of January. |

All true.. Check out Sundays NLP .. Back page .. Also went on to say that emergency goalkeeper signing would be OK .... hmmm dare i say thats good news hehe

Yep the goalkeeper situation happened with Blackburn last year hence the signing of Peter Enklemen. I dont like the news of this window, this will mean we need a lot bigger squad now. Injuries and suspensions will take place and we need adequate cover

that is wrong as they have created a rule tailor made for bigger clubs and now want to enforce it on little clubs who cannot afford the same size wage bills

I agree John, with the financial constraints of running a full time football club in the conference it will be mighty difficult on a small squad!

And also more teams will go over their budget because of the need for a bigger club.
It will lower the standards of players as well because when people get injured and suspended then players with little experience will have to come in for them unless the squad is bi enough. |
