Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

oh ******** - hope we can do something to persuade him otherwise. Maybe let him know that a pint of lager is around eight quid in Norway, that might put him off.

Edited: Paper Boy - please read the T&Cs of the forum concerning swearing and trying to circumvent the swear filter. The filter is there to do a job, so please let it get on with it. Thanks.

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

Coleman said last week that his 5 main transfer targets had been missed and he wouldn't be signing any of them. If Mannix was an original target and I assume that he was, then this news doesn't surprise me.

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

I know that we aint got Wembley here in accy, but it aint far from home, its not THAT cold and surely league 2 can offer a better showcase for his talents than the Scandinavian wilderness?

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

I don't even think Mannix will go that far afield. Apparently League 1 is on the cards for mister Mannix.

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

The guy is clearly injury prone.Should the club take a gamble on him? Not for me,despite him clearly 'oozing' with ability.

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

I'd certainlty take a chance on him if we got the opportunity. I think we should offer him a top dollar contract based on appearances or a pay-as-you-play deal.

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

Surely David has every incentive to demonstrate his recovery from injury and ability at Stanley where like Gary Roberts he will be more accessible to be seen by the big English clubs.

It seems he likes the club and the people in it.

Re: David Mannix for HamKam?

In today's LET, Coley says he hasn't given up on Mannix and is due to speak to him today so hopefully there'll be some news soon, at least we'll know one way or the other if he's joining us or not.
