Do you need/want a private forum?
Easy question this, do you need or want a private or invite only forum within the accrington stanley section? Several people have mentioned that it is a good idea..
From what I can see there are pro's and con's with the idea... Obvious pro's are the idiots can't get in and a con is that new users can't see whats going on... hmmm unless it's viewable by everyone but only invited real fans can post.. whatever the rules, you decide, this forum can handle it so can I have your suggestions here please! |

I think a lot of people have learnt their lesson over the Stanley Messageboard ending, its quite good when fans from other teams come on the forum but like you say any nutter can come on !!!! I think it would be best to start with an open forum and if the idiots come along again then make it by invitation only ??? Well thats my thought

Thanks for all the great work you have done getting this forum up and running and letting us on it!I have a problem though;have just got my virtual dog and with stunning originality have called it Stanley,only to find out that Shurm's dog is Stanley too!What can I do to avoid the inevitable confusion?

I am confused with the question... You mean only people logged in can view it? Seems a bit OTT to me..

Very difficult question?
Who do you let in and why? Who do you not let in and why? Seems tempting to just kneejerk and say yes after some of the things we have just witnessed recently but it aint that simple. I vote we say no for now but as long as the option is available if needed  |
