England squad announced.
No stanley players in the main squad for the National Game X1 for the forthcoming tournament in scotland.
However Jon Kennedy and Peter Cavanagh are in the reserve squad. The Main Squad is as follows:- Matt Baker - Hereford Utd Danny McDonnell - Worcester City Ian Hendon - Barnet Micheal Rose - Hereford Utd David Perkins - Morecambe Phil Bolland - Chester City Scott Guyett - Chester City Danny Collins - Chester City Paul Carden - Chester City James Coppinger - Exeter City Darren Stride - Burton Albion Scott Kerr - Scarborough Jon Challinor - Aldershot Sam Aiston - Shrewsbury Town Luke Rogers - Shrewsbury Town Steve Guinan - Hereford Utd Roscoe D'Sane - Aldershot Guiliano Grazioli - Barnet The Reserve Squad is as follows:- Jon Kennedy - Accrington Stanley  Peter Cavanagh - Accrington Stanley Andy Tretton - Hereford Utd Rob Purdie - Hereford Utd Jon Kennedy - Canvey Island Lee Boylan - Canvey Island John Boardman - Woking Jake Sedgemore - Shrewsbury Town Gareth Sheldon - Exeter Sam Ricketts - Telford Adam Miller - Aldershot Tim Sills - Aldershot Andy Ducros - Burton Albion A bit dissappointing that or lads aren't in the main squad but they still have a chance if anyone gets injuries. Update on the squad:-
Burton Albion's captain Darren Stride has turned down his place in the squad as he wants a break from footall and a chance to rest his long standing groin injury. He will be taking a family holiday instead. Also Burton Albions Andy Ducros who is in the reserve squad could also miss out with a groin injury. Unfortunately neither of these injuries gets a stanley player into the squad.  |
