Re: fisher athletic r.i.p.

My first thought is, we really miss the bananas.

Second of all, yes, have heard of Fisher, vaguely.

From their website - Proposal Announced - 16/11/2007
Fisher Athletic have publicly announced, through local paper The Southwark News, their submitted plans for a £35 million stadium to be built on the border of Southwark Park
.

I think Eric's always been focused on the next urinal, preferably paid for by the OSC.

Vision / reality, discuss, why should this thread be different.

they wont be the last to go this summer i fear, Merthyr (just outside hereford) are in desperate straights and could fold in a week or two, and southamptons future is dodgy too.....sponsored urinals before multi million pound stadia any day

quite sure more will follow, its a shame fer the fans, but will continue until someone grasps the nettle n comes down hard on those responsible fer getting clubs in such a position. thats a charge that cannot be leveled at E.W. i think.

Also Team Bath from the same league as Fisher Athletic have decided to fold. The Conference wouldn't allow them promotion because of constitutional issues.

It said just that. If a debt was not settled today administration proceedings would begin.

Re: fisher athletic r.i.p.

Dunno exactly, I would presume within the last two weeks. Not that it matters as surely todays date is what really matters. I saw it Tuesday and there had been no contact made by the club at that time.
