Absolutely no disrespect to Blyth but think Lidds is more than capable of playing at a higher level

I agree entirely. But last season he was at a lower level still, playing for Dunston in the Northern League Division 1. For Michael, I think it's more an issue of enjoying his football than playing at the level he is capable of. I wish him all the best - a great chap.
