Forum rules and guidelines - ***Please read***

I wanted to avoid this kind of thing, but the kind of silliness we've been seeing recently has prompted this move. Please adhere to these guidelines and we will all be happier and stress-free, including me!

Keep all messages on topic - the main topic for this forum is Accrington Stanley, so keep posts related to the club. Other non-league discussion is allowed, but general football banter should be posted on the Football Forum.

We want to encourage discussion on this forum and that includes criticism as well as praise - However, silly, mindless criticism of individuals will not to be tolerated and such posts/threads will be deleted.

Use of foul language - quite simply, as this is a forum for all Stanley fans of all ages, foul language is not allowed.

General chat - if you want to chat use the General Chat forum, or use a private message. Silly, chatty threads/messages will be deleted.

Advertising and the use of signatures - advertising is not allowed on the forum. Also, please keep signatures to a small size, as large type is distracting to other forum members.

Use of the English language - please attempt to use words found in the English dictionary, rather than phrases only you can understand.

Following these guidelines will make things easier and more pleasant for all of us. In the opening 6 months of this forum I posted only 1 message, the rest of my post count can be attributed to the last 2 weeks. This is just not acceptable and things have now reached the point of extreme silliness, where members are not enjoying the forum anymore and have ceased to post at all. It is a shame when long-time members feel this way, so let's get the forum back on track.

Thanks for making the forum so successful, but let's now aim to make it better.
