I wouldnt call it a great game but we werent ever really in any danger tonight. I'd go so far as to say we won without hitting third gear.
Positive? McCarten is starting to look the player we were all told he could be. Negative? Beckles isnt a shadow of the player he was in the first ten fifteen games. Shalm we put it down to the daft hairstyle? Matty, pun him down, give him a no 2 cut and release the beast pleast

The boy Rodgers had a great game tonight. The defence is so solid.
Matty P still lost in midfield. The difference between him and Noor is vast. I really rate our new midfield general. I really enjoyed the second half - got a bit bored during the first. we deserved 3 points. |

Was a good team display i thought, left wondering how the hell Cambridge are above us??They never really threatened our goal!! mind there best player was injured and didn't play, but even so, 2 good goals and coulda been 3/4 more.well done reds onward and upward.

they're obviously pants without him! Seriously though, really enjoyed tonight's game - was a but nervous when they brought Barry Corr on as he always seems to score against us but needn't have worried, our lads were in the main well in control of the game & even the ref didn't fluff up too much. Up to 13th & with a plus one goal difference - brilliant stuff! Onwards & upwards Stanley |
